Blues falling down like hail, blues falling down like hail - Andy Seed has played slap bass in many rockabilly and blues bands over the years, most notably The Sonics and 706 Union Avenue. I first met Andy in 1978, not long after that we both burnt our Drape jackets, bought lumberjack jackets to replace them with and had our hair cut in to a Mac Curtis style flat tops. The first bass I remember Andy having was made from an old tea chest and broom handle. Here he can be seen taking my diddley bo for a test drive.

You'll never make a saint of me - This well worn St Christopher necklace used to belong to my Mum, she had it for as long as I can remember. As St Christopher is the patron saint of travellers it now sits safely in a small lockable compartment on our motorbike.

Lies beyond the gates of dark and light - Both Lin and I like to visit public gardens and very often the out buildings can be just as interesting as the plants. This shot was taken today whilst visiting Goodnestone Park Gardens near Canterbury in Kent.
