When I walk down your street, through your barred windows you look at me - Ramsgate still has some fabulous buildings hidden away, you only need to go off of the main streets a little to find them. It can't be long before beautiful buildings such as this one are turned into luxury apartments.
But in the meantime I'm going out to Cali - The globe artichoke, transformed as promised.
I hear they're looking for choke pickers out in Watsonville - Globe artichokes are one of the most amazing vegetables they contain the most beautiful shades of reds and greens, and when the purple flower comes out it transforms the plant totally.
With only one string you can't go wrong - I found a good use for the old lager bottle from under my floorboards. A few bits of old wood, some screws, the bottle, a cheap pickup and a guitar string and you've got a diddley bo! Now all I need to do is learn how to play it.
All my life I've been in the dog house - We've been looking after two whippets for a couple of friends whilst they are away on holiday. This is Jasper who is incredibly camera shy, the best way to get a picture of him is when he's asleep which, fortunately is often. I'll try and get a shot of his brother Pipkin before they have to go home.
